With a Visual Arts & Marketing background and 16 years of photography experience, I know when to step in and when to step back. Some moments need gentle guidance, others need room to breathe.   • PRE-WEDDING SESSION

    A pre-wedding session is the perfect way to break down those barriers of nervousness in front of the camera! Sometimes it’s also the first time we’ll meet in person so can help calm the nerves but also help me know how much direction you might need on the wedding day. It's all very relaxed, and a bit of fun - with some gorgeous photos to show for it! When booking at the same time as your wedding package, the couple session is $400 (Normally $650).

Step One

Let’s chat - over the phone or in person! Ask all the questions. Lock in your wedding date with me and get excited…Consider me your unofficial bridesmaid!

I’ll send you a link to accept your quote and fill out an online contract + booking form. Nothing is ‘officially’ locked in until a $500 deposit is paid. I don’t hold dates until this deposit paid. The final payment is due two weeks out from your wedding date. Easy.

what to expect

Step two

I’m there as much or as little as you need me. Some couples will call and email heaps in regard to timings, details, accommodation, other vendors etc. I get that this might be your first time planning a wedding - or an event at all, so am an open book with a wealth of knowledge after the hundreds of weddings I’ve worked. You’ll also have access to my detailed Wedding Preparation Guide which lists lots of vendors, timeline examples, pros and cons of first looks, and ideas for printing your photos once you receive them. I’ll also create a photography timeline for my movements on the day around 3-4 months out, or earlier if you wish.

Step three

It’s your wedding day! Everything has been leading up to this day. Enjoy it (as I’m sure you’ve heard), it goes so quick!

Relax, party, love, trust the vendors that you’ve booked, don’t stress about the weather, it’s the one thing you have zero control over. Have the most amazing day, I’ll be there to capture it all for you.

I’ll head home that night to back up all your photos, culling for the best shots, and work hard to get you a sneak peek within the first 24 hours after your day so you can tell the world your wonderful news!

Step four

You final gallery delivery is within 4-6 weeks (sometimes slightly longer in busy months). Grab the cheese and wine platter; your gallery will be emailed to you to view in a beautiful, user-friendly online gallery. Your photos are delivered in high resolution, watermark free, for you to use as you please. They’re all yours. No strings! This link can be easily shared with all your friends and family or password protected & remain private, should you wish.

If you’ve pre-purchased an album through me, this is the final step. I can choose all the photos, or you can choose them yourself. We’ll go through all that after the images are delivered digitally. It’s a super easy process. Individual prints, frames, thank you cards, canvases, etc can also all be ordered easily directly via your online gallery.

That’s the process - but it’s not goodbye! One of the biggest rewards of my job is watching the journey grow and seeing a couple blossom in their life together. I love to stay in touch with all of my clients, to see the adventure unfold.

So please do keep in touch, and when you get prints up on the wall, send me a photo of them, as that’s where photos should be - on walls for all to see!

All your questions answered…

  • Every kind of weather brings its own beauty, and I know how to make the most of it. Some of the most romantic photographs happen in the rain. Whatever the forecast, you can be confident it will add the right feeling to the story of your day.

    If I can offer my own personal story - it rained (HARD) all day on our wedding day. What I do regret is not going outside for fear of ruining my hair/makeup. We did have awesome photos inside the local art gallery, but I do wish we had more candid ones running around in the garden we were supposed to marry in. That’s a story for another time!

  • Yes, I certainly do. When filling in my contact form just let me know the details and I can send through a customised quote based on this type of coverage. Pricing starts at $2000.

  • For weddings above 80km away from Shepparton, I do charge a small travel fee. This varies depending on the wedding location. Once I have the details I can quote this fee, but generally it’s not more than $350-$500 (if I need to book accommodation).

  • Of course. You can download your images and print them anywhere you like. For the best quality, you can also order fine art prints directly through your online gallery, produced by my professional lab.

  • You’ll receive a complete story of your day, told through both the big moments and the small details. On average, this works out to around 100 photos for every hour of coverage.

  • My home town is Shepparton, Victoria, which allows me to wander the beautiful Goulburn Valley and North East Vic.

    That’s not to say that I won’t travel… because of course I will! I’m always trying to convince family members to elope on a sunlit beach somewhere…

    Some of my favourite weddings around the area have been: the Alpine Country (where I got to heli-fly through a rainbow!), down the Murray River via Paddlesteamer and in some of the most beautiful vineyards on the outskirts of town, in the Yarra Valley or around Bendigo. My current wish is to shoot a wedding in Bright in the middle of Autumn… my happy place!

  • Putting your trust in your photographer is a must. I have over 15 years experience in photographing people and I’ll remind you that I’m just a friend taking your picture while you be your truest self.

    To also ease the nervousness, you can add on a discounted pre-wedding photo session. This is your chance to realise it’s not so scary in front of the camera! It’s also sometimes the first time we meet in person and can get to know each other.

    I send you ALLLL the edited images from this session so you can see the befores and afters of when I ask you to do something (naturally), walk toward me - but bump hips as you go, or put your arms on each other and embrace, or - a personal favourite - hold hands on your chests and lean in for a kiss.

    You’ll receive these photos in an online gallery to download and can use them however you’d like - a ‘save the date card’ or invites, in frames to decorate your engagement party/wedding, or print for your walls!

  • Absolutely! Times are tough at the moment, I get it. As long as everything is paid in full two weeks prior to the wedding date, I’m more than happy to customise a plan for you.
